Biotechnology Society, registered under article 21 of Societies Registration Act 1860, Reg. No. 152/2007-2008, is a non-profit, non- Governmental, non-religious, non-political charitable organization fully devoted to the cause of Biotechnology development in India. India can achieve excellence in all fields if development activities are based utilizing the biological and technological aspects of knowledge. We are committed to the development of rural area and economically needy people - farmers, livestock owners, students, etc.
To train students in Biotechnology from rural and urban areas.
To arrange books and education free of cost to poor and helpless students.
To establish and run an Institute of Biotechnology to provide facilities for research, education and training in the area of biotechnology.
To organize annual conference in biotechnology.
To arrange appropriate courses for training in area of biotechnology.
To establish a firm for production of recombinant DNA based biologicals for use in animals and man with emphasis on rural population and reasonable cost.
To assist and participate in various projects of Government of India and the State for the popularization of biotechnology.
To collaborate with advanced and outstanding institutes and persons in the area of biotechnology.
To adopt and assist the beneficial projects run by the Government of India and the State from time to time for the benefit and education of students.
Uplift of rural and urban people especially economically needy, the student community, the researchers, farmers and to develop linkages with vaccine manufacturers, private R&D organizations.
